Joe Buxton Vice President of Sales Top loan producer and sales leader promoted to executive role Joe Buxton, an award-winning nationwide home mortgage loan officer, was promoted to the position of vice president of sales in November of 2012. In 2013, Buxton led the Columbus sales staff to record year of production. 2013 was capped off with 2097 financial transaction with a volume of $436,000,000. This was a monumental feat for Joe Buxton and his staff. "Joe Buxton has demonstrated great success in sales during his tenure at Residential Finance, so he was a natural choice for this position," said Mark Fowler, chief revenue officer and vice president of production for Residential Finance. "Joe also has deep product knowledge and has consistently shown an ability to collaborate well with other departments throughout the company. In his new role, we expect Joe will have an enormous impact on the company's future." Joe Buxton joined Residential Finance in 2006 as a loan officer and was quickly promoted to branch manager. As vice president of sales, he is responsible for fostering communication and teamwork throughout the company as well as hiring, compensation, rewards and recognition among the sales force, and enhancing the understanding and application of sales tools. Joe Buxton has won numerous awards during his tenure at Residential Finance, including the President's Club Award for Excellence in Sales Management for the last three years. "I'm very excited about my new, expanded role," Buxton said. "As we continue to increase our sales force to keep up with the company's growth, my focus will be on recruiting, training and developing future leaders and broadening our Realtor referral program.
